Who is Funky Baboon?

Funky Baboon is Jeremy Jarrett, a St.Albans based Web Designer, Emarketer and SEO specialist who has worked in web marketing & development in the telecoms business sector for the last 10 years.

In my current role working for a leader in Test & Measurement Rental & Leasing Services, I am responsible for all the companies’ on-line activities for their .com website (including Google Ads and SEO). In addition I manage a number of customer / technology specific extranets, all Emarketing communications and their content. I also design and build specific micro-sites to work with various marketing campaigns that cover the marketing mix.

My Knowledge & Experience

Having introduced a previous employer to Emarketing 8 years ago, I have made this area of the B2B marketing mix an area of speciality and over time seen campaign open rates and click thru rates improve by using customer segmentation and customer led content.

With the development of more targeted Emarketing and the need to understand customer behaviour, the increased development required on websites and landing pages allowed me to take my Emarketing and web skills and move towards developing specific micro-sites for targeted Emarketing campaigns.

As is often the case, as new web technologies evolve and new micro-sites are developed, main company websites can often be left behind. This has then moved my focus to concentrate on building new improved corporate websites that allow campaign micro-sites to be incorporated into them and seen as an extension of brand, offering new and additional web services to key customers.
